Bio

 
Laila Robertson is an Associate Psychologist at The Dawn Practice and a Chartered Forensic Psychologist (HCPC registered: PYL039048, BPS member: 259008). She works with both adults and adolescents, offering psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy for a wide range of difficulties.

 

Her expertise includes supporting people with emotional regulation difficulties, interpersonal and relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, personality-related issues, and problematic behaviours such as substance misuse and self-harm. Laila helps clients make sense of difficult life experiences and supports them to develop greater self-awareness, healthier coping strategies, and more positive ways of relating to themselves and others.

 

She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, ACT, CFT, DBT, and is trained in EMDR. Laila places great importance on collaboration and works in an empathic, non-judgemental way tailored to each individual’s needs.
