Bio

 
Gillian McGrogan is an Associate Speech & Language Therapist at The Dawn Practice and is registered with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RC0022909) and the HCPC. With 18 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities, alongside a broad range of speech, language, and communication needs.

 

She has extensive experience in conducting assessments and delivering interventions for both children and adults, specialising in working with neurodevelopmental difficulties such as autism. Gillian has been a key member of multidisciplinary teams throughout her career, contributing to neurodevelopmental assessments and providing holistic, tailored support.

 

Gillian works closely with families to help them understand and manage communication needs and is trained in delivering Hanen parent programmes such as It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words, and TalkAbility. She also develops and delivers training for professionals and students across education and health services.
