Bio

 
Dr. Sarah Cameron is an Associate Clinical Psychologist at The Dawn Practice and is HCPC registered. She has extensive NHS experience, most recently as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead within an Adult Autism Service.

 

Sarah specialises in neurodevelopmental assessment and post-diagnostic support for autism and ADHD across the lifespan. She is highly skilled in using gold-standard diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and ACIA, alongside Wechsler assessments (WISC-V and WAIS-IV). She also provides therapy and support tailored for neurodivergent individuals, drawing on CBT, DBT-informed practice, PBS, mindfulness, and family-based interventions.

 

In addition to direct clinical work, Sarah has played a key role in service development, pathway design, and governance, ensuring safe and effective delivery of neurodevelopmental services. She supervises both psychologists and multidisciplinary colleagues, and provides training to support autism-informed practice across mental health services.

 

Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in clear communication, aiming to make assessments and interventions accessible and supportive for clients and families alike.
