Bio

 
Laura is the Clinical Coordinator for the Neurodevelopmental Pathway at The Dawn Practice. She is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Autism and nearly 20 years’ experience supporting autistic individuals across a range of settings.

 

She provides neurodevelopmental assessments for autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD, always taking a neuro-affirmative, client-centred approach. She is skilled in working with those who have late realised Neurodivergent profiles and the female presentation of Autism and ADHD.

 

Alongside assessment, Laura offers therapy for adults with complex mental health presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, OCD, and eating difficulties.

 

Laura also offers post-diagnostic support, including support with autistic burnout, masking and ADHD coaching. She is particularly skilled at adapting Compassion Focused therapy (alongside other models) for neurodivergent clients, bringing warmth, empathy, and compassion to her work. Supervision, training and consultation are also available to other clinicians or organisations.
