Bio

 
Dr. Perez is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at The Dawn Practice with over 20 years’ experience working in psychiatry in the UK. He is registered with the GMC and the Royal College of Psychiatrists and trained in child and adolescent psychiatry and systemic psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic in London.

He provides assessment and therapeutic interventions for a wide range of neurodevelopmental differences and mental health conditions, with particular expertise in complex or co-occurring presentations. Dr. Perez’s approach considers the child or young person within the wider context of their family, relationships, and environment.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Perez has held NHS leadership roles at a regional level, helping to develop CAMHS services and promote mental health and wellbeing. He is also a faculty member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Scotland and advises the Scottish Government on child and adolescent mental health policy.
