Bio

 
Dr. Jessica Hendry is an Associate Clinical Psychologist at The Dawn Practice and is HCPC registered. She has 20 years of NHS experience and continues to hold a part-time NHS role specialising in perinatal psychology. Her career has also included work in adult community mental health and CAMHS, where she developed a strong interest in supporting parent-infant relationships.

 

Jessica provides therapy for a wide range of difficulties, including trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, and relationship challenges such as adjustment to parenthood. She believes symptoms are best understood within the context of life experiences and relationships, and works collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding of their difficulties and goals.

 

She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, EMDR, Schema Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. Central to her practice is building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, which she sees as the foundation for meaningful change. Alongside her clinical work, Jessica is experienced in supervision, teaching, and group facilitation.
