Bio

 
Dr. Robertson is an Associate Clinical Psychologist at The Dawn Practice and is HCPC registered (PYL24839). Since qualifying in 2005, she has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in central Scotland. Before moving into private practice, she held a Consultant Clinical Psychologist role in CAMHS.

 

She provides assessments and therapy for a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, phobias, OCD, sleep difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Dr. Robertson also has substantial expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental differences such as autism and ADHD.

 

Her therapeutic style is collaborative and warm, placing strong emphasis on building trust and understanding with young people and their families. She uses a range of approaches including CBT (with trauma-focused work), systemic therapy, DBT-informed approaches, and parenting interventions.

 

Alongside clinical practice, she has experience in supervision, training, and teaching, and has lectured on the University of Glasgow Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme.
