Bio

 
Dr. Colm Hennessy is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over a 15 years of experience working in NHS services across the West of Scotland. Since 2012, he has specialised in child and adolescent mental health, becoming a Consultant Psychiatrist in 2015.

He supports young people with a wide range of mental health and developmental needs, including ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, self-harm, and psychosis. Colm works collaboratively with families to create care plans that consider medical, psychological, social, and lifestyle approaches.

As part of his role, Colm is experienced in prescribing and monitoring medication and in recommending or coordinating talking therapies. He places strong emphasis on sensitive, thoughtful, and creative care.
