Bio

 
Dr. Camilla Dyer is an Associate Clinical Psychologist at The Dawn Practice and is HCPC registered (PYL03498). She has over 15 years of post-qualification experience supporting children, young people, and families in both the NHS and independent practice. Her clinical background includes work in CAMHS, community paediatrics, and medical paediatric services, where she provided psychological care for children, siblings, and parents.

 

Camilla has particular expertise in neurodevelopmental assessment and in therapeutic work with young people who have experienced trauma. She is trained in EMDR and trauma-focused CBT and is committed to providing a safe, collaborative space for families to explore challenges and work towards improved wellbeing and relationships.

 

Alongside her clinical practice, Camilla has experience working with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) as Head of Programme for Parenting and Infant Mental Health, where she led and contributed to national training programmes across child and adolescent mental health, neurodiversity, paediatrics, and early intervention.
