Bio

 
Aileen is an Associate Psychological Therapist and a registered Occupational Therapist at the Dawn Practice. With over 20 years of NHS experience, she has worked across a wide range of services, including adult inpatient care, community mental health teams, and specialist child and family intervention services.

 

She provides assessment and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, supporting people with difficulties such as anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, and burnout. Aileen also has extensive experience in neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.

 

Her therapeutic practice integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, systemic therapy, and occupational therapy. She is particularly skilled in combining individual and family work, helping clients to better understand their difficulties and develop strategies that improve wellbeing and relationships.
